In a real internship you would get to know a company, do some typical work with guidance and under supervision. You would probably meet nice colleagues who could explain things to you. You will use some technical terms, of course. Also, if you’re smart, you’ll observe as much as possible. A good internship company will also let you try out some things on your own. All this you can test here in this module.
This Module is realised in collaboration with KBC Rijeka, Croatia. Rijeka Clinical Hospital Center is a teaching and scientific research base of the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Health Studies, Faculty of Dental Medicine and Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Rijeka. Also, within the framework of the partnership agreement with the University of Rijeka, the hospital achieves professional cooperation with the Speech Therapy Center, the Department of Physics and the Center for Micro and Nanosciences and Technologies of the University of Rijeka. KBC Rijeka consists of 18 clinics, 6 clinical institutes, 6 independent institutes, one independent department and a hospital pharmacy operating in three locations, with a total of 3456 employees.

- learn about students motivation for the profession of nurse
- get an insight in some jobs and daily routines of the nurses
- get to know more about KBC Rijeka and importance of nurses in their organisation and everyday work
